Dr Letsa Upbeat About Winning Polls

26.11.2008 LISTEN
By Daily Graphic

A private medical practitioner and aspiring member of Parliament for Ho Central, Dr Archibald Yao Letsa, has said he is impressed with the support he is receiving from his constituency in his quest to win the upcoming general election.

He said it was clear the people in his constituency would vote him to represent them in Parliament.

Dr Letsa, who is contesting on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), therefore, promised to translate his rich experience in private medical practice into developing the constituency if elected MP of the area.

He said as part of his strategy to develop the constituency, especially in the areas of human resource development, education, infrastructure and health, he would not only depend on government funding for his programmes but also on friends and non-governmental organisations (NGO) ready to assist him to implement these policies.

He said the failure on the part of some past MPs was that they did not understand and respect the views of the people, much less plan together with them.

He, therefore, pleaded with the constituents to show their real support on December 7, by voting massively for him to enable him take the leadership role and help to translate the dreams of every member of the constituency into reality.
