Musama Disco Christo Church donates to Koforidua Gov't Hospital

In the quest to honour its social responsibility in its operational areas, the Musama Disco Christo Church has donated an uncountable number of assorted items to the Children's Ward of the Koforidua Government Hospital.

The presentation of the items, which forms part of activities to mark the annual national women convention of the church, which was held here in Koforidua, included 30 pieces of bed sheets, beverages, fruits, bread and rice, at an estimated cost of GH¢3,000.

Presenting the items, the president of the women's movement, Mrs. Cecilia Arthur, said they were touched to do the presentation as parents, to help and promote the health conditions of the poor innocent children.

According to her, the future of this country hugely depended on the success of the children, who hold the tendency to take the mantle from the current crop of leaders.

She called on the staff of the hospital to put the items to good use, as well as exercise motherly care to the children, and desist from any acts that could endanger the future of the children.

Receiving the items on behalf of the hospital, Mrs. Mary Bannerman, expressed her profound gratitude to the leaders of the church, for showing love and care for the children.

She however pledged her outfit's readiness to put the items to good use, to the benefit of the children.
