Dr. Paa Kwesi Nduom, Convention People's Party (CPP) presidential candidate for Election 2008, on Sunday called on party members to ensure peace and high sense of responsibility in words and deeds in their electioneering, to attract more electorate.

He said that Ghanaians by nature were peaceful and would associate with any political party that would proclaim and actualise the promotion of peace and harmony.

Dr. Nduom who was addressing CPP Western Regional rally, at Takoradi on Sunday, reiterated that a CPP government would ensure development, prosperity and freedom by creating employment and adopting prudent economic programmes.

Cpp had fielded 21 parliamentary candidates in the 22 constituencies in the Western Region for the upcoming elections.

Dr. Nduom said the fact that he was addressing a large crowd indicated that the CPP was vibrant in the region and urged members to continue their membership drive to enable the party to win more votes.

Mr. David Ampofo, CPP Chief Campaign Strategist and Communications Director appealed to the electorate to vote for the party to accelerate national development.

He said that the party CPP would activate all abandoned development projects initiated during the first republic if voted to power.

Mrs. Yvonne Nduom, wife of Dr. Nduom, called on Ghanaian women to vote for the party since it was gender sensitive and would appoint more women to higher positions if it won the polls.
