The Area Council and the Community Based Rural Development Project (CBRDP) are co-funding the construction of a GH¢ 50,000 clinic at Kuffour-Camp in the Atwima-Mponua District.
The health facility, the construction of which has started, will serve the community and its environs.
Alhaji Issaka Combat, Chairman of the Area Council who made this known at a meeting of the area council at the weekend, said the council is supporting the project with GH¢ 10,000 through its internally generated fund and is providing communal labour whiles the CBRDP takes up the rest of the funding.
He appealed to the people to pay their property and basic rates promptly to enable the council to generate funds for more development projects.
The Council Chairman urged his people to form Neighbourhood Watch Committees to minimize the incidence of criminal activities in the area and appealed to the community to organise clean-up exercises to improve sanitation.
