Egypt midfielder Mohamed Aboutrika has been warned by the Confederation of African Football after displaying a slogan in support of Gaza at the Africa Cup of Nations Cup finals in Ghana.
Aboutrika lifted his strip to reveal a tee-shirt with the slogan 'Sympathy with Gaza' as he celebrated scoring in the 3-0 win over Sudan in Friday?s Group C match against Sudan in Kumasi.
He was booked in the match for the action.
CAF said on Saturday Aboutrika had been warned after the incident that the display of political slogans was against football regulations.
Aboutrika?s action came on the same day as clashes between Palestinian residents, seeking to break the blockade of Gaza, and Egyptian police.
