The Western Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Francis Ndede Siah has lamented over poor road networks in the region.

According to him, there is no way he will lead a campaign for flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia ahead of the 2024 General Election if poor roads in the Jomoro and other Constituencies in the Western Region are not fixed.

“There is no presidential candidate I can lead to campaign in some constituencies. Even in my own constituency, Jomoro if the roads are not fixed, it will be hard for me to campaign there,” Francis Ndede Siah said in an interview with Neat FM.

The NPP Western Regional Chairman continued, “I have nothing to say and there is nothing to show. What projects has government done in Jomoro?

“Most raw materials are from Jomoro, yet when it comes to development, Ellembele is far ahead. The road is just 18 to 20km. The most annoying part is that the Jomoro road is being funded by GNPC and Ghana gas.”

According to him, in 2020 he advised that galamsey activities be checked or the NPP would lose the Western region to the NDC and it came to pass.

Francis Ndede Siah warns that if government continues to neglect his calls and roads in the regions are not fixed, the party will lose in the Western Region.
