Diana Markwei, 25, the woman who sustained severe burns when fire gutted her apartment at Awoshie in Accra on Wednesday, February 21, has died at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital.
Diana, a mother of one, was asleep when her apartment caught fire, she suffered burns all over her body and was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit of the Accident and Emergency Centre of the hospital.
The cause of the fire is not yet known and the Anyaa Police are investigating.
Mr. Ofosu Antwi, a relative of the deceased, told the Times yester-day that Ms. Markwei died on Saturday, March 3.
