Suspects arrested at Kasseh, near Big Ada on February 8 by the Highway Patrol Unit of the Police Service.
They were arrested after three vehicles — two Mercedes Benz and Hyundai Hiace buses — in which they were conveying assorted goods, including 88 sacks of wrist watches, suspected to be under-invoiced, were intercepted.
The two Mercedes Benz buses were being driven by Alfred Noah and Obed Agbedor, while George Azidi was driving the Hyundai Hiace.
Four people, Richard Gyasi Fosu, Karikari Yao Agyei, Adu Francis and Addai Solomon, who claimed ownership of the goods, were also arrested.
