FOUR people have been arrested by the Police Highway Patrol Unit (HPU) at Dawa in the Volta Region, for importing 118 wax prints without paying customs duty.
They are Esi Kwaku, a traditional priestess from Klikor, Rose Ahiable, 30, of Aflao, Mavis Lagbeneku, 34, of Denu and Louis Kwame, 27, of Aflao, all in the Volta Region.
The goods were intercepted on January 18, during two routine snap checks on two passenger vehicles, Superintendent Sayibu Gariba, Commander of the HPU, told the Times in Accra.
