Alan Kyerematen storms Ashanti Region today to begin campaign

An aspiring flagbearer of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen has left for Kumasi to commence his campaign to win the flagbearer slot of the party.

This was after he organised an inter-denominational thanksgiving ceremony at the Accra International Conference Centre.

The campaign tour of the resigned Trade Minister dubbed 'Homecoming’ will take him to the Manhyia Palace to call on the Asantehene Otumfour Osei Tutu II.

Mr Kyerematen is expected to meet with the delegates in the region to sell his ideas to them as part of his campaign.

Reports say supporters of the Mr Kyerematen are massing at vantage points in the Kumasi metropolis awaiting his arrival in the region.
