Dennis Miracles Aboagye, Communications Director for the 2024 NPP Campaign Team for flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has dragged ex-president John Dramani Mahama in his latest episode of The Next Chapter show, stating that a lot of divorce cases were recorded in 2016 due to dumsor.
Miracles Aboagye's comment comes while justifying why giving Mahama another chance to lead the country will spell doom for Ghanaians, saying," Consider what we are even going through now due to the challenges we are facing. Today, he's back, asking us to make him president. I think it is very disrespectful and insulting after all the things he put us through."
According to him, Mahama who has been an MP, minister, vice president and president failed to make an impact in the lives of Ghanaians. Miracles explained in detail the shortcomings of Mahama-led administration from 2012 to 2016, highlighting how businesses were shut down, students studied in darkness, and numerous divorce cases were recorded due to dumsor.
"John Mahama has been an MP, a minister, a vice president, and a president before. If you can recall, in 2012 when he was the Vice president, he told us he was just a spare driver to Atta Mills' government so we should give him the car to drive the nation to where it should be. He made so many promises and spoke tough. For four years, when we got to 2016, the nation was in total darkness, He imported lots of generators into the country, but we were still experiencing dumsor because there was no money to buy oil to power those generators. We experienced dumsor for close to three years, causing divorce and collapsing businesses," he added.
