Mahama congratulates Queen Elizabeth on her platinum jubilee celebration

Former President, John Dramani Mahama has extended his heartiest congratulations to the Queen of the United Kingdom, Her Royal Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on the occasion of her platinum jubilee.

In a post on his Facebook page, the Ghanaian politician applauds the United Kingdom Queen for her constant inspiration as leader of the Commonwealth in the face of monumental global changes over the decades that she has been at the helm of affairs.

“Heartiest congratulations to HRM Queen Elizabeth II, Queen of the United Kingdom and Head of the Commonwealth, on the joyous occasion of her platinum jubilee,” part of the post on the Facebook page of John Dramani Mahama reads.

The former Ghana President concludes, “As the people of the United Kingdom and members of the Commonwealth mark the occasion of the seventieth anniversary of her ascension to the throne, my wife Lordina and I join the people of Ghana and well-wishers across the globe to offer Her Majesty our warmest congratulations and best wishes for her continued good health.”
