Leading messaging application, WhatsApp has once again thrown its users into a state of questionings and confusion.
In the early hours of January 26, 2020 users woke up to find the app on their status lists; Four images with different stories, a situation that did not go down well with users as they took to Twitter to express their dissatisfaction.
Earlier this year, management of the application led by its CEO, Mark Zuckerberg announced an all new feature which when updated, will enable users share their information with its mother company Facebook.
This aroused a lot of agitations amongst some users of the application who said their privacy was so paramount.
This paved way for the massive patronage of rival message applications Signal and Telegram despite Mark and his team’s assurance of an end to end encryption feature on the app.
