DEC 1, 2020 LISTEN

Kennedy Agyapong, Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin North Constituency in the Central Region, has called on party supporters to galvanize last minute votes among the constituents of Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai to earn the Party one touch victory in the December Polls.

The outspoken Member of Parliament made the call during separate community rallies organized by the Parliamentary Candidate (PC) for Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai, Mr Alfred Obeng Boateng at Lineso, Surano, Asawinso and Sefwi -Bekwai to sensitize the electorates on the numerous achievements of the Akufo-Addo led administration since assumption of power in 2016.

He recounted that Planting for Food and Jobs programme (PfJ), One District One Factory programme (1D1F), Provision of one Ambulance per constituency, scholarship package for tertiary students, One Village One Dam (1V1D), restoration of teachers and nurses allowances, Free Senior High School policy among others were indication of the Party's commitment to raise the living standards and even do more in the next tenure.

The Assin North MP cautioned against voter apathy and urged all to turn out massively to cast their ballot.

The event attracted a lot of political stalwarts in the constituency including, Mr Kingsely Adjei Manu, former District Chief Executive for Bibiani, Mr Kofi Adusei Poku, former Member of Parliament for the area and Constituency Executives both the past and present.

Mr Agyapong said Mr Obeng Boateng had served his people well through the provision a brand-new Nissan 4x4 pick-ups to Bibiani, Sefwi Bekwai and Sefwi Wiawso police divisions to combat crimes in the area, 100KVA generator set and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to the Bibiani Government Hospital.

Other interventions include, sewing machines to apprentices, cash for the aged, funded the skills training of about 300 youth and assisted some brilliant but needy Students.

Mr. Obeng Boateng pleaded with the electorates to vote for him in the general elections to become the next Member of Parliament for the Constituency.
