The Oti Region for Akufo-Addo 2020 Campaign Team wishes to inform all citizens of Oti region that it has received the endorsement of the leadership of the Joint Consultative Committee (JCC) of Oti to call on all registered voters within the Oti region to cast their votes for Akufo–Addo when they go to the polls on December 7, as our way of expressing gratitude to the current President for creating the Oti region.
As you are all aware, none of the former Presidents of Ghana was able to give us a separate region despite the numerous petitions that we presented to them on the basis of the fact that our area has been marginalized in terms of development, among other major challenges. It took the courageous and visionary leadership of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to create the Oti region, after more than half a century of making the demand – a giant first step towards the development of the area.
We also wish to draw the attention of all Chiefs and citizens of Oti to the various projects that the government of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has already initiated across the area, following the creation of the region.
On the basis of these facts and records, we can confidently say that Nana Akufo-Addo’s achievements and love for the people of Oti surpass that of any other candidate currently contesting for President in the upcoming December 7, 2020 elections.
Again, by voting for Nana Akufo Addo, we can be sure that he will expand and complete all the development projects that he has initiated within this short period to ensure a full realization of his dreams for the Oti Region.
To ensure that all the people get a proper understanding of why everyone within the Oti region must vote for Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo- Addo, the Oti Region for Akufo-Addo Campaign Team of the JCC has initiated a program to visit all communities for the purpose of providing explanations and also respond to any questions that may be in the minds of any person concerning this particular call.
We invite all well-wishers and friends of the Oti Region to lend their unflinching support to this noble course.
We pledge our support to a Peaceful, Free, and Fair elections in December 2020.
