The day was also used to launch the International Labour Orgnaization (ILO) Report for the year.
The event was organized by the Ministry of Manpower, Youth and Employment, in conjunction with the ILO and the International Programme for the Elimination of Child Labour.
It has the theme: “The end of child labour within reach.”
The celebration aims at recognizing the country's preparedness to eliminate child labour, as well as to promote child rights issues.
