Positive steps begat positive marriage, you can't live negatively and think you can have a positive marriage, what you give into life is what the life will give to you. If you desire a positive marriage, a marriage that brings joy and happiness, a marriage that make a paradise on earth, then you must take the following positive steps.

(I) POSITIVE FOUNDATION: ¬Foundation determines the strength of the house, if the foundation be destroy what can the righteous do? If you desire a good marriage, you must lay the foundation of prayer, fasting, patience, counsel, planning, preparation, fear of God, pure courtship and glorious wedding, are solid foundation to get a glorious marriage.

(2) POSITIVE THINKING:- If you desire to have a blissful marriage then you must learn to think positively about your spouse, think of forgiveness, reconciliation love acceptance, trust etc. Never think of punishment, strife, fighting, curses, abuse, unforgiveness etc.

(3) POSITIVE PARTNERSHIP: ¬Become the positive partner, be the first person that will call for reconciliation, be ready to forgive, raise, appreciate, kindness love apologise when you are wrong.

(4) POSITIVE COMMUNICATION – Use your mouth to build your marriage, never destroy your home using the caterpillar of your mouth, never tell lie, never abuse or/curse, never nag, gossip or backbite, but rather praise, thank, crack healthy Jokes, laugh to your spouse Jokes, never speak angrily, never speak to hurt.

Before you say anything to your spouse ask yourself, is it true? Is it right? Can I take it? Can I say it in Jesus name? Will it glorify God? Will it edify my partner? Have I think or pray about it? Have I gotten all the necessary information? Will it make my partner happy? If you say no' to any of the question, then do not make the statement to your spouse.
