
Nana Afua Antwi, the 2011 Black Entertainment Film Fashion Television and Arts (BEFFTA) Award winner, is set to showcase her classy African clothing line “Adopted Culture” at the Fashionmist scheduled for the West London-based Hotel Russel on May 26, 2012.
At the event, Nana Afua will be showcasing lovely summer/spring collection and also she will officially launch her Charity Foundation which seeks to support the young single Women/Mothers living harsh lives in rural Africa, particularly Ghana.
Adopted Culture was nominated last year at the BEFFTA Awards for best fashion label when it was only eight months.
She is originally from the Ashanti Region of Ghana and she is known to be one of the top African models in the United Kingdom at the moment.
Ever since Nana Afua was crowned the winner for Top model of Colour UK, it has been one of her greatest achievement to beat over 3200 applicants to make it to the top of such a well known Model competition for models of Colour and within one year in the modeling Industry she's got massive exposure and has been a great inspiration for young upcoming models.
Nana Afua Antwi schooled at the Thurrock College, UK and finished off at London University College of Fashion, UK.
