22.10.2017 LISTEN

Most-talked-about radio and TV presenter and entrepreneur, Delay, born Deloris Frimpong Manso, has confidently stated that if she should die today, she will certainly make it to heaven.

She was speaking on her own entertainment show ‘The Delay Show’ which was aired on GHOne on Sunday and interviewed by Andy Dosty.

Delay said that she is an individual with a good heart, a heart of gold which those around her can testify to; therefore she qualifies to live in heaven.

“I know if I should die today I will make it to heaven because I have a good heart; a heart of gold and the people around me know this. I’m not boasting but that is the truth; I help a lot of people when I can, I stay true to myself and so if I should die today, I will go to heaven,” she explained.

Asked how she feels whenever she reads negative comments about herself from people and what her worse criticism from anyone was, Delay responded that she does not pay attention to critics and what they have to say about her because she would not allow anyone to mar the happy and fulfilling life she is enjoying now.

She added that human beings are funny and so sometimes she sees it as ‘one of those things’.

Delay revealed that she lost her parents at a young age; her father at age thirteen and her mother when she was twenty-one years and this made life extremely hard for her until she was thirty and started earning good money and enjoying life.

“Andy I’m not bothered about those comments at all. I don’t pay attention to them because I’m enjoying my life right now. I started enjoying life after the age of thirty and so I won’t let negative comments bother me,” she said.

Speaking on her Delay Products – Delay Mackerel and sardines - Delay said she is looking at growing her Delay brand to hit the international market and to make the brand a generational property for her current family and also posterity.

She further disclosed that so far the best two interviews she has enjoyed on her own show are those of Vicky Zugah and Ahuofe Patricia because those two personalities had stories similar to hers; a factor in choosing Ahoufe Patri as the lead character for her Cocoa Brown Show.
