On March 30th 2010, GHANALINX MEDIA GROUP and affiliates hosted a historic event in Canada as NAFTA award winning actor Majid Michel hit the red carpet in Toronto, ON for the premier of the African Blockbuster hit movie 'SOMEWHERE IN AFRICA'. The event brought about people from all cultures from African to Carribbean to Caucasian that enjoy African films, and have a love and respect for Majid Michel, known as Africa's' very own Denzel Washington. Special guests Mr. Fred Nuamah (Founder of Ghana Movie Awards), along with Mr Kwame Boadu (Producer of “Somewhere in Africa”) and friends and family of Majid Michel were all in attendance.
Heroes Production Partnered with Ghana Linx in collaboration with AfriCulture Magazine and Blackstar World to premiere this much-anticipated movie in Toronto at the Price Family Cinema inside York University. The red carpet started at show 8pm and the show began at 10:30pm while the audience waited with excitement to see movie hailed as one of Africa's finest. After the film the audience continued the non-stop celebration, taking the party over to Coconut Lounge.
