Mrs Rebecca Boateng, headmistress of PRESEP Preparatory School at Adoagyiri near Nsawam, has urged parents and guardians in the area to spend their resources on their children's education instead of funerals.

Briefing the Ghana News Agency at the school on Tuesday, Mrs Boateng said parents must always remember that the future of the country is in the hands of their children.

“Your children will grow up to become the doctors, lawyers, journalists, lecturers, scientists, and engineers that country needs to move forward in development,” she said.

Mrs Boateng said the school had completed four classrooms blocks and appealed to philanthropists and Non Governmental Organizations to come to their aid with building and educational materials.
