It was a delightful Friday, as Ghana Wheelchair Tennis coordinator Henry Larbi distributed International Tennis Federation (ITF) items to players and coaches after the final day of the National Wheelchair Tennis Championship at the National Tennis Center, Accra.

The shared items included rackets to players, Tennis Apparel for both men and women players as well as coaches and tennis shoes for players.

Speaking to the coordinator of Ghana Wheelchair Tennis Henry Larbi said, "I am happy we have got the tennis items at the right time, these items will go a long way to help us especially in their preparation towards the ITF wheelchair tennis futures in Kenya slated for next year.

These items are part of the 2019 Equipment Donations received from the ITF Wheelchair Tennis Department to support the development of Wheelchair Tennis in Ghana. Other items on its way are 12 Wheelchairs and their spare parts.

Ghana Tennis Federation (GTF) president Isaac Abogye also added that, the good standing relationship between GTF and ITF has encouraged them to lend us a helping hand.
