Highly-rated Ghanaian attacker Samuel Owusu has been named in the Saudi Professional League ‘Team of the Week’ for match week 10 after putting up another stellar performance for his Al Feiha side last Friday.
In a crucial match played at the Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium, the nimble-footed attacker was handed a starting role after returning from the International break where he represented the Black Stars.
Despite featuring in all two matches for his national team in their qualifiers to the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament, Owusu did not show any sign of fatigue and excelled as he scored the only goal on the day to hand Al Feiha a crucial 1-0 win over Al Shabab.
At the end of the round, Samuel Owusu’s performance for his side has earned him a spot on the ‘Team of the Week’.
In a Twitter post, he has shared his delight while stressing that he hopes for more goals and improved performance in subsequent matches.
