Obuasi Ashanti Gold forward Saddick Adams has heaped praises on midfielder Richard Djodi whiles describing him as the best playmaker currently playing on the local scene.
According to the formal Kotoko striker, his teammate at the Miners in terms of playing as a playmaker is far ahead of all other playmakers in the country.
Richard Djodi featured for AshGold last Sunday when they locked horns with their regional rival Kumasi Asante Kotoko in the John Agyekum Kufuor (JAK) anniversary match. The match eventually ending one all with goals from Emmanuel Gyamfi for Kotoko and Richard Djodi scoring for AshGold.
Speaking on the back of Djodi’s performance in the cup match, veteran Saddick Adams emphasized that there is no better playmaker better than Djodi in the country.
‘’There is no other better playmaker than this guy (Richard Djodji) who is in the Ghana premier league". Talent over hype Richard Djodi, a footballer was borne”, he said.
Djodi who is an Ivorian signed for the Obuasi based side in 2018 and played under CK Akonnor when he was the clubs head coach.
