Asamoah Gyan Hoping To Get First Team Play Under New Coach At Kayerispor

Ghana skipper, Asamoah Gyan is optimistic of getting more playing time at Kayserispor under new manager Hikmet Karaman.

Karaman was named as the manager of the club after a torrid spell under Ertugrul Saglem leaving the at the relegation zone.

However, the former Shanghai SIPG striker struggled to cement his name in the first but managed to score only one league goal.

But ahead of the second round of the season, Gyan believes things will begin to look up under the new boss.

“I have had a new meeting with the coach and the signs are very positive,” he told Asempa FM.

“He spoke to me of what he expects and I have accepted this challenge.

“I am confident things will be better in 2019.”
