Premier League giants Accra Hearts of Oak have confirmed a friendly match with Medeama SC to celebrate the “Amakuma Festival.
The Amakuma festival is a festival celebrated amongst the people of Takwa in the Western Region. As part of this year’s celebration, Takwa based side Medeama has invited the Accra based club to play a friendly to commemorate the occasion.
The high profile friendly will be the first test for the newly appointed coach of the Phobians Kim Grant to exhibit what he has for the clubs teeming supporters. Since taking over as manager he has been tirelessly taking his squad through various training routines to up their fitness levels.
The former Black Stars striker will also have the opportunity to try out new signings Richmond Ayi, Mohammed Alhassan as well as Dominic Eshun
The match will be played this Sunday at the T&A Park. Kick off time is 3:00pm
