Accra, June 30, GNA - Mr Charles Osei Asibey, the President of the Ghana Armwrestling Federation has been elected as the Deputy General Secretary of the Africa Armwrestling Federation board.
Mr. Osei Asibey was given the nod during the Federation's 8th Congress in Lagos, Nigeria on Thursday.
He would also double as the Director of competitions and Events for the African Armwrestling Federation until 2020.
The GAF president would lead the Golden Arms in Nigeria as they seek to make a mark in their first ever international competition.
Mr He serves as an Executive Committee Member of the Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) and also the Communications Director of the Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC).
