Swansea City coach Francesco Guidolin insists the form of his Ghanaian ace Andre Ayew has been unaffected by constant reports linking to rival English Premier League clubs.

Ayew's pre-season form has led to many analysts in England concluding that question marks over his future have affected his scoring form.

This comes after the Ghanaian was not on target in their last friendly match in the pre-season which has led to questions over his state of mind.

Ayew has been linked with moves to top clubs Liverpool and Chelsea after impressing in his first season in England.

West Ham have been reported as the frontrunners to grab the Ghana international as they are reported to have slapped in a £20m offer.

Swansea City's Italian manager has now denied his centre forward had been affected by the question marks hanging over his future.

"The players are working hard and it's normal to play well one time and not play so well another time," Guidolin insisted.

"Andre is happy and next week we begin another week of training sessions."

Ayew scored 12 goals for Swansea City in his first season in the English Premier League.
