The Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) will on Tuesday, September 1, launch the 40th Edition of its annual Dinner and Awards Night at the Press Center, Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) headquarters.
The event which is used to honour sports men and women who distinguished themselves in the year 2014, will be under the headline sponsorship of communication giants MTN, who have been the headline sponsors for the past five years.
Also in attendance will be distinguished patrons, stakeholders in sports, journalists and members of the Association.
Over 25 sports men and women drawn from various sporting disciplines will be honoured during the 40th SWAG Awards.
The 40 MTN/SWAG Awards has been fixed for Saturday, October 3, at the Banquet Hall, State House, Accra.
