Done deal: Wakaso joins Las Palmas on loan

UD Las Palmas have completed the loan of Ghana international Wakaso Mubarak who joins the islanders on a one-year deal from Rubin Kazan and will undergo a medical revision at his new club tomorrow. Las Palmas reserve the right to buy the winger outright in June next year.

Wakaso is no stranger to the Liga BBVA, he arrived in Spain in 2008, joining Elche from Ghanaian outfit, Ashanti Gold SC. He spent three seasons with theIlicitanos before being transferred to Villarreal in 2011. A year later, he was on the move again, spending a season at Espanyol.

He signed a four-year contract with Rubin Kazan in a seven million euro deal in 2013 and was loaned out to Celtic last term.

A full international with Ghana, Wakaso represented his country at 2014 World Cup Brazil
