Swedish-born Ghanaian international defender Joseph Baffo is close to reaching full recovery after beginning rehabilitation five weeks ago, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.
The 22-year-old went under the knife in October to help him overcome a shoulder injury.
However, the defender has returned to training and is reaching full recovery.
“I've began rehab about five weeks ago and I hope to get into full fitness in the coming weeks for the pre-season,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com.
Baffo helped Halmstad to remain in the Swedish top-flight.
The former Helsingborg defender wants to switch nationality to play for Ghana.
