Edwin Gyimah is moving to Black Aces
South Africa-based midfielder Edwin Gyimah has been shockingly loaned by SuperSport United to Mpumalanga Black Aces on a one year loan deal.
According to one of South Africa's leading football newspapers Soccer Laduma, the Black Stars midfielder has been sent out to the little-fancied side even though he is a key player for SuperSport.
Just last week, Gyimah was linked to a move to Turkey, but in a twist of events, the Ghanaian defender-cum-midfielder has joined Clive Barker's team for the 2014/2015 season, according to the report.
Gyimah joined SuperSport in 2011 from Ghanaian club Wa All Stars, and made his international debut a year later.
He had looked set to join a club in Europe, with Turkey being the likely destination, but it now seems he will continue his career in South Africa for at least another season.
Gyimah made 23 appearances in the PSL for SuperSport last season, and scored one goal.
