Peace FM morning show host Kwame Sefa-Kayi will be on the bench for the country's celebrities when they battle their Black Stars counterparts in this year's Stars Soccer Fiesta.
One of the key architects of the soccer fiesta, Sammy Anim Addo, has said the decision to bring Sefa-Kayi on board was to add more bite to the competition which is gaining grounds as the years roll by.
This year's edition, expected to be launched in Accra today, is intended to diffuse political tension and promote peace ahead of the general elections.
On June 24, some of the country's film stars, musicians and other celebrities will come face to face with the Black Stars at the Baba Yara Stadium.
'We are using this year's edition to drum home peace ahead of the general elections, hence bringing personalities like Sefa-Kayi and co to spice it,' Anim Addo noted in an interview.
The fun-packed competition has peaked in performance throughout the years, with the musicians playing second fiddle to the Black Stars in all engagements.
Black Stars players like John Mensah, Asamoah Gyan, Sulley Muntari, John Paintsil, Kwadwo Asamoah featured in the last edition against the Amakye Dedes, Kwasey Pees, Funny Faces, Castros, Saminis, Kwabena Kwabenas and co at the Accra Stadium.
The program is supported by the Asamoah Gyan Foundation, Sparrows Production, John Paintsil Kids Project, Ghana Actors Guild, MUSIGA among others.
