Kwadwo Asamoah Warns Ghana
LISTEN

Kwadwo Asamoah KWADWO ASAMOAH, Ghana's new-found soccer sensation has warned against complacency in the camp of the senior national team, the Black Stars.

The Udinese of Italy forward was on target when Ghana recorded an impressive 2-0 away win over Mali in Bamako in a 2020 World Cup eliminator last Sunday.

Relishing the sweet victory, the inside left, blessed with deft touches, admonished his colleagues to put the victory aside and prepare adequately for the remaining encounters.

He thus implored his teammates to take their June 20 tie with Sudan in far away Omdurman serious since there are no minnows in football anymore.

With the victory, Ghana now tops Group D of the Africa/World Cup qualifiers, winning the two matches played so far.

Asamoah was of the view that another away win over Sudan would further cushion Ghana's chances of sustaining its position on the table to pick the solitary slot for the mundial in South Africa.
