Ghana striker, Jordan Ayew has affirmed his dedication, alongside his elder brother Andre Ayew, to the national football team, the Black Stars.

Speaking after Ghana's 2-1 loss to Nigeria in Morocco over the weekend, the Crystal Palace forward emphasized their commitment despite the defeat. Jordan, 30, managed to score a late goal for the Black Stars in the 95th minute.

Reflecting on their performance, Jordan reiterated their unwavering loyalty to represent Ghana.

He expressed gratitude for the opportunity to wear the national colours, emphasizing their determination to uphold honour in every match.

“God has given us the opportunity to represent Ghana the best way as possible. We are really committed till the end," he said.

"For us, it’s always an honour to represent and we will always fight for our colours," he added.

The Ayew brothers boast a combined total of over 200 caps for the Ghanaian national team, with both having participated in multiple FIFA World Cups.

They were also part of Ghana's 2023 AFCON squad, which unfortunately exited in the first round.

Looking ahead, Jordan and Andre are gearing up to face Uganda in an international friendly scheduled for Tuesday, March 26, at the Stade Marrakesh.
