Football sensation João Félix has hinted at the possibility of a long-term stay at Chelsea.
The 23-year-old Portuguese forward, who is currently on loan with the Premier League giants from Atletico Madrid, spoke about his future plans in an interview monitored by Modern Ghana on twitter with the London Is Blue Podcast.
Félix, who has been in impressive form since his arrival at Stamford Bridge, expressed his admiration for the club and its ambitious project. "For now, I'm on loan here at Chelsea so I don't know the future yet — but I'm here and I can see that it's a big club with a big project," he said.
He went on to add that he believes Chelsea is a "big European team" and that he feels and sees the potential for a long-term stay with the club.
Chelsea fans will undoubtedly be thrilled to hear Félix's comments, as the young forward has quickly become a fan favorite since his arrival. He has scored some crucial goals and helped the club this season.
