Legon Cities FC goalkeeper, Fatau Dauda has emphasized that he will give his captain’s armband to club new signing Asamoah Gyan.
The capital-based club in a bid to bolster their squad for the upcoming football season has successfully secured the services of Ghana’s all-time leading goal scorer.
Speaking to Oyerepa FM on the arrival of the Black Stars great, goalkeeper Fatau Dauda says he will gladly turn over his captain’s armband to Asamoah Gyan.
“I will not hesitate to relinquish my captaincy to Asamoah Gyan. I don’t need management of Legon Cities to tell me that, he’s my senior and I need to give him that respect unless he doesn’t want it.
“I will give him the band anytime he’s on the pitch”, Fatau Dauda noted in the interview.
