Ghana's Joseph “King Kong” Agbeko will fight Vernie Torres of the Philippines in the United States on August 26.
The bout will be Agbeko's first in the US.
Fighting on the bill that night will be two other Ghanaian fighters Ben “Congo Soldier” Ankrah and Samuel Amoako on the bill.
Joseph Agbeko who is a former Commonwealth and African boxing union bantamweight champion hopes to make Vernie Torres, his 21st knockout victim.
Agbeko is unbeaten in 23 professional fights with only one draw.
Before Agbeko's fight on the 26th of August, one of Ghana's surest world title prospects and a former champion Ike Quartey fights Vernon Forrest on August 18.
Ike has been in the US over the past few months as he steps up his preparations for the much-anticipated bout.
