
In a bid to expand the platform for 'dancehall' revolution in Nigeria; H2G Entertainment (aka Home 2 Globe Entertainment) in conjunction with ENT.1771Nigeria unveils the “Naija Dancehall Queen” arguably the most anticipated and prominent women dance competition in Nigeria.
At the unveiling of the Visual Identity & Website (www.naijadancehallqueen.com.ng) launch of the Naija Dancehall Queen, on Friday 13 July, 2012, the Event Marketing Director and CEO, ENT.1771, Dapo Edward Okundalaiye explained that “the Naija Dancehall Queen is not just a dance talent competition, rather it the evolution of a MOVEMENT that celebrates and empowers women (girls, ladies) through the Dancehall concept, sound and fashion”.
The event offers an avenue to benchmark the Nigerian Dancehall pre-eminence, explore Dancehall talents, promote Dancehall beats and set agenda for women advocacy. This year's competition is opened to all ladies 18+ above in the country, who are fit and can 'Dare to Dance' according to the theme of the Naija Dancehall Queen, Lagos edition.
