New Patriotic Party delegates in the Ejisu constituency have affirmed their unflinching support for Lawyer John Kumah to be their Parliamentary candidate in the upcoming general elections.
According to them, Lawyer John Ampontua Kumah who is the Chief Executive Officer of National Entrepreneurship and Innovative Program (NEIP) has won the hearts and minds of both young and old folks in the constituency and marketing him for more votes would not be any headache at all.
The delegates noted that his constant touch of empathy to the various communities within the constituency has endeared him to the numerous voters not only within the NPP but across the political divide.
Michael Nsowah Agyemang of Kokobra Okyerekrom electoral area speaking to Modern Ghana Online noted that their constituency has benefited a lot from his position, a feat not many constituencies can boast about their appointees in government.
Reading from a long list of what he described as Community Support Projects, Mr. Nsowah Agyemang who is the Assemblymember for Kokobra and a delegate mentioned the various supports Lawyer Kumah has given to communities in the constituency.
“He has constructed a 30 Seater Ultra Modern toilet facility at Ejisu Akyeremade. It is the first of its kind here because it has Biodigester, a Laundry, 10 bathrooms and Urinals”.
He said Lawyer Kumah assisted the people of Asaman with 100 bags of cement, Jachie with 150 bags of cement, Achiase with
100 bags of cement towards Chairman Bonsu’s funeral grounds project and Akyawkrom with 100 bags of cement and 3 trips of sand.
In education, he has supported several schools by donating monies and items to enhance teaching and learning.
These schools include Ejisu Presby Primary school, Apromase Primary school, Onwe Senior High School and Ejisu Zongo Islamic School.
“Everybody in the constituency have witnessed his humane qualities for which myself and the over 700 delegates have vowed to vote for him to be our parliamentary candidate come this year’s general elections.
