NPP Primaries: Dont Be Deceived By Money – Tuah-Yeboah Advices Delegates
12.02.2020 LISTEN

Sunyani East NPP delegates have been advised not to allow money, material or any form of inducement to influence their judgements in the selection of a Parliamentary Candidate for the constituency in the upcoming primaries on April 25.

Rather, their choice of a Parliamentary Candidate for Sunyani East should be based on the messages of the various contestants, taking into account their track record in the party and elsewhere and what each of them promises to offer, should he be elected.

Alfred Tuah-Yeboah, an aspirant in the upcoming NPP parliamentary primaries in the Sunyani East constituency gave the advice during an interaction session at Abesim near Sunyani.

The interaction session, which was attended by Polling Station Executives and other delegates in and around Abesim, formed part of Lawyer Alfred Tuah-Yeboah’s campaign tour of the Sunyani East constituency to formally introduce himself to the delegates and also ask for their support in the forthcoming elections.

Lawyer Tuah-Yeboah said if voted as the NPP Parliamentary Candidate, he would conscientiously work towards peaceful and harmonious co-existence among party executives and other party functionaries and strengthen the party’s structures on the ground to make it more effective.

He was not happy about the current state of the Sunyani East constituency office of the party as well as the various Electoral Areas and the Polling Stations.

He promised to help resource the party with vehicles, motor-bikes and other logistics to enhance the day-to-day administrative works within the constituency.

Mr. Tuah-Yeboah promised to set-up a revolving fund for the various Electoral Areas within the constituency to provide financial assistance to people, especially those who would want to set up or expand their businesses.

Born in September 1975, Lawyer Alfred Tuah-Yeboah is currently the President of the Brong Ahafo Regional Bar Association. He holds MSc in Defence and International Politics from the Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College, Accra.

He completed his professional law course at the Ghana School of Law in 2002 after obtaining a degree in Accounting and Law from the University of Ghana, Legon in 2000. He also had his Diploma in Business Management in 2000 from ICS, Glasgow, Scotland.

The young and affable lawyer has been a card-bearing member of the NPP since 1996 and has over the years held various positions in the party; including Deputy Regional Secretary of the party from 2010 to 2014 and currently member of NPP’s Legal Committee in the Bono region.
