A member of the North East Region New Patriotic Party (NPP) communications team, Latif Adam on Wednesday brought smiles to faces of staff and patients of the Baptist Medical Center in Nalerigu.
He donated a large quantity of food, assorted drinks, and items to the staff and patients to spice up the celebration of the Christmas and New Year festivities.
The NPP communicator who is a staff of the facility also interacted with the patients to ascertain how they were faring.
He explained that the gesture was due to the love he has for the sick and vulnerable in society.
"The reason for the season is about caring, and it is right that the sick also enjoy such cheer in the time of their need" he said.
Latif Adam wished all and sundry happy new year and hoped that the new year would bring "new achievements and a lot of new inspirations on your life"
Some of the patients who could not hide their joy thanked him for the kind gesture.
