Most energy drinks on the market contain large amounts of caffeine, which can provide a temporary energy boost. Also, some energy drinks contain sugar and other substances that may prove detrimental to ones health. In addition, the boost they provide is short lived short-lived, and may be accompanied by other problems such as weight gain. For example, energy drinks that contain sugar may contribute to obesity and too much caffeine, or caffeine-like substances, can lead to: Nervousness, Irritability, Insomnia (inability to fall asleep), Rapid heartbeat and increased blood pressure. Also note that there are a few groups for whom energy drinks are typically not recommended. These include; Teenagers, pregnant women and women who are breast-feeding. Adolescents are advised not to get more than 100 milligrams of caffeine a day. Furthermore, Younger children shouldn't drink caffeinated beverages on a regular basis.
Another deadly combination is the mixing of energy drinks with alcohol, which may be even more problematic. Energy drinks can blunt the feeling of intoxication, which may lead to heavier drinking and alcohol-related injuries as well as addiction. For most people, occasional energy drinks are fine, but the amount of caffeine can vary from product to product. However, one is advised not to exceed 400 milligrams of caffeine a day from all sources which includes cocoa beans, kola nuts, tea leaves and coffee.
If you're consistently fatigued or run-down, however, consider healthier ways to boost your energy. One healthier substitute for people who need energy, vitality and endurance is the PHYTOBOOSTER. My few years in practice has introduced me to many products that are purported to give energy but none can be compared to the effectiveness of PHYTOBOOSTER in providing energy and vitality. Most clients are placed on the product have had their own share of its effectiveness. Not long ago a client, name withheld, whispered into my ears that the PHYTOBOOSTER does not only give energy but has brought happiness into his matrimonial home. This language is coded so he that has an ear let him hear. Also, It is also essential that those who feel lethargic; get adequate sleep, include physical activity in their daily routine, and eat a healthy diet. Consult your doctor if you are easily fatigued because fatigue is a sign of an underlying medical condition, such as hypothyroidism or anemia.
