Bofoakwa Pip Okwawu

At Cape Coast, Tano Bofoakwa beat Okwawu United 1 -0 in their GT Premier League match at Robert Mensah Sports Stadium on Sunday. Bofoakwa took absolute control of the game and piled pressure on their opponents and in the process they earned a penalty when a hard-pressed defender of Okwahu United handled the ball in the 18. Referee G. K. Manu who was near the incident rightly whistled for a penalty from mid-fielder Kingsley Agyeman to score the only goal of the match in the 26th minute.

On resumption of the second half, Okwawu made desperate attempts to find the equaliser but try as they did, they could not find the net till final whistle.
