Greater Accra NPP Chairman Leads Cleaning At Trade Fair Centre

Mr Divine Otoo Agorhom, the Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has led the Regional party executives and followers to clean up the Trade Fair Centre after last Saturday's delegate conference.

The exercise was organised by the Regional Executives and in partnership with Zoomlion Ghana Limited to help clean up the filth left behind after the Congress.

Mr Agorhom was on Saturday elected the Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the NPP after beating his main contender Mr Alfred Boye with seven votes of the total valid votes of 611.

It would be recalled that the entire Trade fair facility was branded with various posters and banners of many candidates contesting for the various positions in the party.

Mr Agorhom secured 276, Mr Boye, who until the election was the Acting Regional Chairman, had 269 and the third aspirant, Archibald Cobbina, the Greater Accra Regional Coordinator of National Disaster Management Organisation, had 66 votes.

Until the election, Mr Agorhom had been the party's three-time parliamentary candidate for the Sege constituency, a Regional elections officer, a former Regional first Vice chairman, a member of the National Council of the NPP and also the Chairman of COB-A Group of Companies.

The participants included; Mr Agorhom, chairman, Mr Prince Obeng, Regional Organiser, Mr Moses Abor, Youth organizer, Mr Solomon Asante, Alhaji Kamil, Regional Nasara Coordinator, Mr Mordecai Quashie.
