CDD Report Will Not Make NPP Complacent; John Boadu

NPP CDD Report Will Not Make NPP Complacent; John Boadu
APR 16, 2018 LISTEN

Mr. John Boadu, the acting General Secretary for the ruling party, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has emphasized his party will not allow the recent Ghana Centre for Democratic Development(CDD) Afro Barometer survey report to get into their head.

A recent report by the CDD has revealed the NPP will convincingly beat the opposition, National Democratic Congress if we should have general elections today. A report tagged the CDD Afro Barometer survey has stated the NPP will get 49% of the votes and the NDC will get 22% of the votes.

Speaking today on Asempa FM on the Ekosii Sen program, the National Organizer for the NPP stressed his party will not be complacent as this report goes in their favour. They will instead keep working hard to make sure the challenges of Ghanaians are resolved even though some of those challenges are self-inflicted.

Still speaking on the matter, Mr. Boadu said even though such a feedback from the survey is positive, it does not mean they are guaranteed to win an election, therefore the NPP will continue working hard for the people of Ghana. We will let this motivate us to do more, he said.

“Last time we got 169 seat and if we could get 200 seats today we will be very happy”, continued the acting general Secretary.

Mr. John Boadu is currently on a campaign tour in the three Northern Regions to be voted for as the substantive General Secretary of the NPP in the up-coming regional elections.
