Chiefs Grateful For The Creation Of New Juaben North Municipality

The chiefs and people in the newly created New Juaben North Municipality have expressed appreciation to the President for keeping faith with them.

He had promised creating a new municipality for them during the election campaign and they said 'it has not just been a talk but a reality'.

Nana Kodua Kesse, Oyokohene and Adontenhene of the New Juaben Traditional Area, conveyed the gratefulness of the people at a press conference held in Oyoko.

He labeled the new municipal assembly as a dream come true and rallied all to work together to ensure its smooth running.

The expectation was that they would continue to maintain strong sense of unity and discipline to fast-track the development of the area.

Nana Kodua Kesse reminded everybody that there could not be any meaningful progress in the midst of disunity and disputes.
