Nkoranza (B/A) May 25, GNA- Thirteen former supervisors of the Non-Formal Education Division (NFED) of the Ghana Education Service in the Nkoranza District of the Brong Ahafo Region, have appealed to the Government to compensate them for their contributions to the promotion of functional literacy.
Mr Samuel Kwasi Baffoe, Spokesman for the group told a press conference at Nkoranza on Wednesday that members had served for 11 years, laying the foundation for the implementation of the functional literacy programme.
He said despite their numerous sacrifices for the NFED their appointments have been terminated without any compensation.
