An Urgent Call For Help
Ghanaian-born Ebenezer Gerald Puplampu 'alias' 'Pope', a specialist in industrial relations management who has been in Canada for the past 17 years is diagnosed with 'End stage Renal Disease'. This kidney-related malady is traumatizing and debilitating 'Pope'. As he relentlessly grapples with this condition, he is appealing to Ghanaians world-wide for urgent assistance to enable him live and enjoy life. 'Pope's dire needs are two-folds. On one hand, he urgently needs a kidney donor, and on another and of equal importance, he needs financial support. In his own desperate words, " I need your financial support to help me sponsor someone from Ghana or spread my intention for a kidney donor globally. I really need your assistance desperately in order to alleviate the unbearable tension, which has battered me into silence. Should the worse become worse for not getting a donor of whom I am on the waiting list for 7 years or more, there will be a need to sponsor a family member from Ghana to assist. Do not let me die slowly, I have the capability, integrity and vitality to render services to the Ghanaian community in Canada, to our motherland and to my adopted country, Canada." The Ghanaian News-Canada is putting up this urgent cry for help for our compatriot. We trust the generosity of Ghanaians world-wide to rise to the occasion in times of dire need for our Compatriots.
