Reflections And Feedback On Mr. Temitope Joshua’s Apostleship: A True Man Of God Or Satanist?

Reflections And Feedback On Mr. Temitope Joshuas Apostleship: A True Man Of God Or Satanist?
09.10.2014 LISTEN

I wasn't taken aback the least by the deluge of reactions and feedback on my calling Mr. Joshua Temitope out as a Satanist. The letters I received and are still receiving could be categorized into three types. First, his ardent supporters who virulently defended him, because of the miracles he is capable of pulling off. Among the ranks of these supporters are those who were beneficiaries of Joshua's miracles but didn't want their names in print. Since Mr. Joshua performed “miracles” it doesn't matter where he got the powers from, he's doing good and thus the he is the real deal. As one wrote: “He-T.B. Joshua-often delivers and that is what matters.” What the writer meant by delivery is that, people's problems are solved through miracles and so Mr. T.B. Joshua is a real man of God.

The second group of writers threatened me and used the same language their principal used last week during his press release. In the said press release, Mr. Temitope Joshua disclosed he saw the tragedy that occurred at his Synagogue of Satan few days before it occurred but he could not stop it. That is the same way he saw the deaths of prominent men and women in the society, including presidents but would never say prayers should be offered to avert such deaths. He believed the latest tragedyin his synagogue was part of his baptism of fire and trials as a man of God and people should empathize with him rather than criticize him. He went as far as threatening with death those of us who called him out as a Satanist.

The third and last groups of writers were those who could see beyond their spiritual nose to tear apart what was going on beyond the façade into the spirit realm. And by the way, Mr. Temitope Joshua and his spiritual factotums do not need to be using their demonic powers over the pictures of those of us who have the Holy Spirit of God to expose him. That is the Satanism we're talking about. Now I have decided to reproduce some of the letters I have received and the questions the writers asked. I will reproduce more of the letters next week and thereafter summon Mr. T.B. Joshua to Mount Horeb and Mount Carmel as Moses and Elijah did respectively in the Holy Bible and we shall hear from the True Lord God Almighty. Keep a date in this column.

Good day professor. I read your write-up on T.B. Joshua whether he's a real man of God or not. Sir, you really hit the nail on the head concerning this wolf in sheep clothing. Sir, you mentioned some yardsticks one can use to know a true man of God and which T.B. Joshua doesn't possess. Sir, another way(s) to know a true prophet and whether he's called of God is by his mandate, because every one used by God from Moses to the Apostles in the New Testament were specifically instructed and given a message by God to the people they were sent to and what they preached was in tandem with the Holy Bible and evidential in the life of the people.

Another, way to know whether a pastor or prophet is genuine is from his or her source (mentor) i.e. the church he went to and the people that tutored him. For examples, Moses mentored Joshua, Elijah mentored Elisha, and Jesus mentored first, the 12 Apostles, later, the 72 Apostles etc. Sir, on several occasions this man(Joshua) had been asked by pastors in Nigeria to show them the person that mentored and pastored him, before they would be able to accept him into their fold(Christian Association of Nigeria –CAN & the Pentecostal .Fellowship of .Nigeria-PFN) and he's not been able to pinpoint any. Sir, every true man of God after their message will make alter call for sinners to come out so that they will be reconciled back to God which is the essence of Christ's Death and Crucifixion on the Cross but I have never seen this man make such alter call.

Finally, I will like you to proffer answers for me to these questions with relevant scriptural verses to support your answers. (1)why will God allow this man(Joshua) to be leading people to hell since He(God) knows he's not His messenger (2)Who did God pronounce curse on after the fall of Adam and Eve: is it devil or Snake? If the snake was cursed, why, to my knowledge the snake was innocent because snakes don't talk. (3)What is the spirit of Elijah that the Bible referred to when He was talking about John the Baptist? (4) Who were the two witnesses that the Bible referred to in the Book of Revelation that will appear after the rapture? ---Mr. E.F.O, Kaduna, northern Nigeria.

Thank you for your comments and questions. It's not God Almighty that has allowed this man called Temitope Joshua to be leading people astray; rather the people that throng that demonic enclave known as Synagogue of Satan do so because of ignorance. Hosea 4: 6 says it all: “my people are destroyed from lack of knowledge.” The Word of Life in 1 John 4: 4 warned every human being, including Christians thus: “Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.” Anyone who failed this cautionary warning will fall into error and God will not be blamed.

However, if there are some people really searching for the Truth and are in that place ignorantly, the Almighty God who sees the hearts of all men and women will arrange situations and circumstances to open the eyes of such genuine seekers of the Truth and get them out of that demonic stronghold. Your second question refers. The Almighty God cursed Satan who used the snake to deceive our First Parents; Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden: (Genesis 3: 14:” The LORD God said to the serpent, "Because you have done this, Cursed are you more than all cattle, And more than every beast of the field; On your belly you will go, And dust you will eat All the days of your life;”). The curse on Satan affected the snake he used.

The snake wasn't innocent. All animals used to talk and conversed with Adam and Eve before Satan indwelled the snake to deceive Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden (Genesis 2: 20:“Out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field and every bird of the sky, and brought them to the man to see what he would call them; and whatever the man called a living creature, that was its name.” If in doubt that Adam talked to the animals, read this verse; Genesis 2: 21: “So the man gave names to all the livestock, the birds in the sky and all the wild animals. But for Adam no suitable helper was found.”

It was after Adam interacted with all the animals and none could be his mate that Eve was created to complement him. The Lord God Almighty stopped this power of communication between human beings and animals after Adam and Eve fell. I have seen and interacted with great hunters who could use this power from Satan to talk to animals today. The Book of Malachi 4: 5-6 noted thus: "See, I will send you the prophet Elijah before that great and dreadful day of the LORD comes. He will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers; or else I will come and strike the land with a curse." The Lord was referring to Elijah in the Old Testament who did not die physically but rode a chariot to heaven alive (2 Kings 2: 11:“As they were walking along and talking together, suddenly a chariot of fire and horses of fire appeared and separated the two of them, and Elijah went up to heaven in a whirlwind.” Elijah returned later as John the Baptist to finish his work and died naturally in the New Testament as foretold by Angel Gabriel who broke the news of his birth to Zechariah, his father in Luke 1: 11-17 in order to fulfill prophecy.

We do not know the two witnesses that the Book of Revelation was referring to in Revelation 11: 3 and the Bible didn't tell us who they are or will be except that God disclosed that “I will appoint my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for 1,260 days, clothed in sackcloth.” Because these two witnesses are; ““the two olive trees” and the two lampstands, and “they stand before the Lord of the earth.” If anyone tries to harm them, fire comes from their mouths and devours their enemies. This is how anyone who wants to harm them must die. They have power to shut up the heavens so that it will not rain during the time they are prophesying; and they have power to turn the waters into blood and to strike the earth with every kind of plague as often as they want.”

Dear Sir,I read your works and respect you as a writer. As for your question on Prophet T.B. Joshua, he is a true man of God.Follow the spirit and do not allow your human knowledge to deceive you in writing things out of hatred. As a Nigerian visit SCOAN to see things for yourself, that is my advice. That people lost their lives in the building collapse does not make him a Satanist.Acts 2 verse 38 will be helpful.Regards, yours brother in faith, ---Mr. Otibacchus A. Ozigbo, Germany.

Dear MrOzigbo, I maintain by the Power of the Holy Spirit in him that Mr. T.B. Joshua is not a true man of the Lord God Almighty of the Holy Bible. You told me to follow the spirit in your letter. Which spirit? Let Mr. Joshua come out openly and says He is using the Name of the Holy Spirit of the Most High God to perform those voodoo miracles he's pulling off in Nigeria. Then you referred to Acts 2: 38 which say: “Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”

I thought you should have directed that verse to Mr. T.B. Joshua. I do not need to visit the Synagogue of Satan in Lagos, Nigeria to know through the Power of the Holy Spirit the demonic activities going on in that satanic enclave. “By their fruit,” Mathew 7: 16 disclosed “you will recognize them.” I want you to go and re-read my first and original article on Mr. T-B. Joshua in this link: Ask the Holy Spirit to minister to you and reveal to you what He revealed to me about this Satanist.

I beg to disagree with your analysis. First, you said you have never met the pastor, yet concluded that he operates a synagogue of Satan. I have never been to the synagogue myself but used to watch him on TV and nothing that I see is unchristian-like or satanic. When have we become judges over other Christians? Pastor T.B. Joshua's only sin according to you is that he heals and helps the poor and the needy. Nobody has accused him of ritual killings, kidnapping, embezzlement or advanced fee fraud which Nigerians are well known for. The pastor may not have a PHD, his preaching and healing methods may not follow the orthodoxy but he certainly achieves result. That's the bottom line! ---Friday Bernard, Location not provided.

Dear Mr. Bernard, where did you read in the Holy Bible that Christians are not supposed to judge fellow Christians? Read this in 1 Corinthians 2: 15:“The person with the Spirit makes judgments about all things, but such a person is not subject to merely human judgments,…” When the Bible says we should not judge, it's talking about any one telling another person he/she will go to hell. No human being has the power to judge whether a fellow human being will go to hell or not because the Great Judge is our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, period! (John 5: 22: “…the Father judges no one, but has entrusted all judgment to the Son.”). But in the case of Mr. T.B. Joshua, he's not even a Christian. Yes, I repeat again, Mr. T.B. Joshua is not a born-again Holy Spirit-filled child of the Lord Jesus Christ not to talk of him as pastor. Mr. T.B Joshua doesn't need to possess a PhD degree to be a man of God, but he needs the Holy Spirit to be called a true man of God.

All miracles are not from God, I repeat. Satan and his demons, including their human hirelings like Mr. T.B Joshua can and do perform wonders and miracles to lure the unwary and ignorant to the nether gloom. The Word of Life warned true believers and genuine seekers of the Truth in 2 Thessalonians 2: 9: “The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with how Satan works. He will use all sorts of displays of power through signs and wonders that serve the lie…” From the tone of your letter, you do not care where the powers to wrought miracles used by Mr. T.B. Joshua come from as long as he delivers. Good luck to you.

Dear DrFayemiwo, i will be happy if you can answer these questions for more understanding of the scripture. Matthew 13-29-30: "But he said, 'No; for while you are gathering up the tares, you may uproot the wheat with them. Allow both to grow together until the harvest; and in the time of the harvest I will say to the reapers, "First gather up the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them up; but gather the wheat into my barn......... Let us accept your claims about T.B. Joshua to be true, are you doing what the master said we should do, or are you laying another foundation? Are you now greater and wiser than Jesus Christ? In Act 16-16-19: “It happened that as we were going to the place of prayer, a slave-girl having a spirit of divination met us, who was bringing her masters much profit by fortune-telling. Following after Paul and us, she kept crying out, saying, "These men are bond-servants of the Most High God, who are proclaiming to you the way of salvation." She continued doing this for many days.

But Paul was greatly annoyed, and turned and said to the spirit, "I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her!" And it came out at that very moment....... “If T.B. Joshua is possessed by demons as you claimed, why don't you get him delivered since you have Holy Spirit in you? In Colossians 3:12: “Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience........ TB Joshua's character falls into these biblical qualities which cannot be found in any servant of Satan. In John 15:20: “Remember what I told you: 'A servant is not greater than his master.' If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also........ I think it is clear that TB Joshua is going through all that his master Jesus Christ went through during his earthly ministry. ----Mr. IgirigiDagburunenyi, Location not disclosed.

To answer your questions Mr. IgirigiDagburunnyi in Mathew 13: 29-30, you have also forgotten that our Lord Jesus Christ commissioned us to go and preach the Gospel-the Good News-to all creation. He did not tell usto leave the tares alone but warn the tares while growing up so they will not end up as tares till the harvest. That your question in Mathew 13: 29-30 doesn't bode well for the Good News. Our Lord Jesus Christ said in John 15: 22: “If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not be guilty of sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin.” It is our sacred duty as redeemed children of the True Lord God Almighty to warn all those worshipping with Mr. T.B. Joshua at the Synagogue of Satan to search for the real Truth and make sure they are indeed redeemed children of the True Lord God Almighty rather than being lied to and deceived. To your second question where you referred to Acts 16: 16-19 and asked that since I have the Holy Spirit, why can't I deliver Mr. T.B. Joshua?

Sure, I can deliver Mr. T.B. Joshua of his demons no matter how high those demons are, but has Mr. T.B Joshua accepted he has demons? Is he ready and willing to be saved? Direct those questions to Mr. T.B. Joshua and not me. Who told you that demonic agents cannot be humble and well-mannered? Read what Colossians 2: 18-19 said of sheep in wolf's clothing: “Do not let anyone who delights in false humility and the worship of angels disqualify you. Such a person also goes into great detail about what they have seen; they are puffed up with idle notions by their unspiritual mind. They have lost connection with the head, from whom the whole body, supported and held together by its ligaments and sinews, grows as God causes it to grow.” Mr. T.B Joshua is not passing through any persecution as a servant of the Lord Jesus Christ. He isn't a true servant of the True Lord God Almighty, period! I want you and your ilk that are blindly and fanatically supporting Mr. T.B Joshua to stay tuned to this column next week, because we shall all go to Mount Horeb and Mount Carmel to finish this spiritual war once and for all.

Dear DrFayemiwo, I've read a lot of your column and I know without doubt that you are a true man of God. Everything you said about T B Joshua is true because you backed it up with the scripture, you expose the kingdom of darkness and I like that because people's eyes need to be opened to the reality. I pray that the gates of hell will never prevail against you and your family. God bless you. ---Mr. Kingsley Atuegwu, Dagenham, United Kingdom.

Thank you and remain blessed in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.

Dear Dr. Fayemiwo. True men of God do not judge others. The Bible is very clear on this. Do not judge. Yes, there are people exploiting others in the name of church or God. They were around throughout time ... before, during after Christ. But God has fixed His judgment time for all. So allow Him His exclusive Right to melt (mete) out the verdict when it is due here on earth or after life. Remember His gifts, blessings, talents, etc. are different but united in purpose. Thank you. From EmekaNwandu, Los Angeles, California, USA.

Dear Mr. Nwandu, I have explained what the Holy Bible meant by not judge above and in my original article on Mr. T.B. Joshua, I never said he would go to hell. He doesn't need to go to hell, because he can still change and give his life to the True Lord God Almighty. With God, all things are possible (Mathew 19: 26). However, we have the Holy Spirit to expose any person who masquerades as angel of light whereas he/she is of darkness. We also owe it a sacred duty to the souls of human beings going to that Synagogue of Satan who do not know their spiritual right from their spiritual left and are being hoodwinked and deceived by this voodoo man. All genuine men and women of God, true servants of the True Lord God Almighty in Nigeria and all over the world MUST obey the Lord God Almighty in Ezekiel 3: 18 thus: “When I say to a wicked person, 'You will surely die,' and you do not warn them or speak out to dissuade them from their evil ways in order to save their life, that wicked person will die for their sin, and I will hold you accountable for their blood.”

Dear DrFayemiwo, Still thinking about your piece but must admit that you are just the same old MoshoodFayemiwo, bold and honest. ---John Ayodele, Atlanta, GA, USA.
